Surprisingly, shooting this solo scene with Renna (and it was a full solo scene) on Española Way in broad daylight wasn’t the riskiest set of the day. Looking through the full set, you can pinpoint some of the moments we were caught by the expression on Renna’s face. Which is hilarious.
It wasn’t long after sunrise when we shot this so there weren’t a ton of people around. But there were more than a few lingering about and starting their day. It’s amazing that I’ve only ever had the cops called on me once during shoots. And it wasn’t even with Renna!
